Who we are

RockTech Solutions, LLC ("RockTech", "we", "us") runs three websites:

• rocktech.solutions, our company site.
• rocktech.ai, our course and product site.
• learn.rocktech.ai, our online course platform (our "LMS"), where you sign up, download free resources, buy courses and take lessons.

This policy also covers information we collect when we contact businesses and professionals directly, outside our websites.

This policy explains what information we collect on each site and through outreach, what we do with it, who helps us handle it, and how to contact us about it. Mailing address: 7411 Riggs Road, Suite 412, Hyattsville, MD 20783.

The short version

• Most of the information we collect comes from learn.rocktech.ai, when you create an account, download a free resource, buy a course or take lessons.
• rocktech.solutions and rocktech.ai have no forms and no analytics.
• If we contact you for business outreach, every email tells you how to opt out, and we honor it.
• We do not sell your personal information. We give it only to the service providers listed below, and only so they can run our sites and courses for us. We do not give it to anyone for their own marketing or advertising.
• We never see or store your card number. Course purchases are processed by Stripe through Thinkific; other payments to RockTech are processed by Stripe or PayPal.

What we collect on each site

rocktech.solutions

• No forms, no cookies, no analytics. This site does not collect information from you.
• The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We do not keep access logs for this site. Amazon Web Services handles your IP address only to deliver the page to you.
• The site links to Cal.com, where you can book a free consultation. To book a free 15-minute consultation on Cal.com, you give your name and email, and you can add notes and guest emails. The call takes place on the video platform named in your booking. Cal.com keeps booking details while our Cal.com account is active, and we delete them on request.
• The site links to rocktech.ai.

rocktech.ai

• No forms of its own and no analytics.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare runs a bot-protection check on every page to block automated abuse. It sets one cookie, cf_clearance, which proves you passed the bot check and lasts about 1 year.
• "Get the Task Brief" buttons take you to a sign-up form on learn.rocktech.ai. Some of these links carry tracking tags in the web address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) that tell us which page or campaign sent you.
• The site links to Cal.com (see above), LinkedIn, and some partner products (Runable, Magica, Lovable). These partner links are affiliate links. RockTech Solutions may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Once you click through to LinkedIn or a partner, that company's own privacy policy applies. When you click an affiliate link, the partner's site sets its own referral cookie so it can credit RockTech for the referral.
• All purchases happen on learn.rocktech.ai, not on rocktech.ai.

learn.rocktech.ai (our course platform)

Our course platform is run on Thinkific and protected by Cloudflare.

When you create an account, we collect:

When you sign in, we use your email and password. If you tick "Remember me", you stay signed in for 30 days.

When you download a free resource (such as the Task Brief), we collect your first name and email address. Thinkific stores this as a "lead" together with:

• your subscribed status,
• the date you signed up,
• which free resource you asked for (the source product), and
• the web page you signed up on (the page URL).

Visitors from the EU are asked to tick a consent box before they sign up.

After you sign up, Thinkific sends you a series of 6 emails from us. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Clicking it stops the emails. When you unsubscribe, your record stays on file marked unsubscribed so we do not email you again.

When you post or upload, Thinkific stores what you post in the course community and any files you upload for assignments. Community posts can be seen by other members of the community.

When you buy a course, checkout is hosted by Thinkific and payment is processed by Stripe. We can see your name, email, the course you bought, the amount, the date, the type of payment method and the page that referred you. We never see your card number. See "How payment works" below.

When you take a course, Thinkific records your enrollment and your lesson progress (which lessons you have opened and completed). We use this to give you access to the course, to let you pick up where you left off, and to apply the refund rule in our Terms of Use.

• Google reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha check that sign-in, sign-up and checkout are used by real people.
• Stripe collects device and activity signals at checkout to prevent fraud, and does not use them for advertising.
• New Relic measures page performance and overwrites your IP address within 24 hours.
• Google Fonts receives your IP address and browser details to deliver fonts, and sets no cookies.

Analytics. We do not use analytics tools on any of our sites. Thinkific, which runs our course platform, uses its own analytics (Mixpanel) and performance monitoring (New Relic) to operate its service.

Business contacts and outreach

This part covers information we collect outside our websites, when we contact businesses and professionals directly.

• Business cards and events. When you hand us a business card or we meet at an event, we record your name, company and contact details from the card. Card images are read by software on servers RockTech operates, and the details are stored in our contact records system, which also runs on servers RockTech operates.
• Contact lists. We may add business contacts from event attendee lists and public business and professional directories.
• Prospecting with Runable. We use Runable, an AI assistant, to find business contacts and draft outreach emails. Runable finds contacts from public business websites and professional profiles. The contact's name, company and email address are kept in a Google Sheet.
• Sending and replies. Outreach emails are sent from our own systems through our email provider, Migadu. When you reply, we read your reply and are notified of it through Telegram.
• Opting out. Every outreach email tells you how to stop further emails, either with an unsubscribe link or by replying "unsubscribe". Once you opt out, we record it and stop emailing you. We keep that record so we do not contact you again.

How we use your information

We use the information described above only to:

• create and run your account, and let you sign in;
• give you the courses you enroll in and remember your progress;
• send you the free resource you asked for and the 6-email follow-up series (until you unsubscribe);
• help you with course support, including by phone;
• process refunds under the refund rule in our Terms of Use;
• keep the sites working, fast and protected from bots and abuse;
• contact businesses and professionals about RockTech's services, and follow up on replies.
• send you receipts, account and course notices, and RockTech news and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

How payment works

RockTech Solutions, LLC does not collect, see or store your credit card or payment information. Course checkout on learn.rocktech.ai is hosted by Thinkific, and payments are processed by Stripe. Other payments to RockTech Solutions, LLC, such as for services, are processed by Stripe or PayPal. In every case your card or PayPal details go straight to the payment processor, not to us.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf to run our sites and courses, and we do not let anyone use it for their own marketing or advertising.

We may disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep your information

• Account information, course enrollment and lesson progress: kept while your account is open, and deleted when you ask us to delete your account.
• Lead records: kept until you ask us to delete them.
• Purchase records: kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
• Cal.com booking details: kept while our Cal.com account is active, and deleted on request.
• Outreach contacts: kept until you opt out or ask us to delete them.
• Opt-out records: kept permanently, so we do not contact you again.
• The Cloudflare __cf_bm cookie lasts 30 minutes.

Your choices and requests

• Stop marketing emails: click the unsubscribe link in any of the emails.
• Ask about your data: anyone can ask us to see, correct, delete or get a copy of their information. Email support@rocktech.solutions.
• We act on requests sent from the email address on your account or lead record, or we email that address to confirm it is really you.
• We will reply within 30 days.

Children

Our sites and courses are for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account, sign up for a free resource, or buy a course. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it. If you believe someone under 18 has given us their information, email support@rocktech.solutions.

Security

All our sites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, and we never see card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission.

Where your information is stored

Our service providers store and process data mainly in the United States. For visitors from the EU, UK and Switzerland, they rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect data transferred to the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
